Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actor, most famous for her portrayal of Joan Holloway. She played the character in seven seasons of AMC's period drama Mad Men from 2007-2015. She received critical acclaim in the series and received nominations for six Emmy awards under the category of best supporting actress. Her career, which spans more than two decades, has included appearances in the crime comedy series Tin Star as well as Kevin Hill's legal drama. The actress is well known for her performances as the voice of Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers Prey At Night Egg, American Woman and The Neon Demon. Her voice was used in animated films, such as Toy Story 4, Scoob! and From Up on Poppy Hill. Her career began as a fashion model and worked in the field for a number of years prior to making her debut on television with Undressed. Her first substantial role came in the comedy drama Beggars and Choosers following which was also recognized for her part in the cult hit Firefly. Esquire magazine awarded her the title of sexiest and most attractive American woman of 2010, in their annual survey.
