Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is best known for his performance in the film 'Birdman. Being a multi-faceted actor, he is able to perform both dramatic and comedic parts. Alongside romantic roles, he also starred in action films and thrillers. He was attracted to performing and acting when he was in his teens and attempted stand-up comedy while young men. He was unsuccessful in his comedy career however this set the path for his career as an actor. In order to succeed in the field of comedy and performer, he was hired in the role of a cameraman with an local cable television station. Through the work he started to realize that he really desired to appear in front of the camera. After that, he was offered a TV role, appearing in many shows of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was an naturally talented actor, and quickly became a household name on television. After establishing a successful film career, his comedic performances brought him a lot of attention. The Tim Burton film Batman He played Batman, the character of the same title. Over time the actor's acting abilities developed and he was able exploring the possibility of directing and production. The 2013 Birdman film garnered him numerous nominations and awards.
